Compassion
" You can't fix it, unless you understand it."
In order to ( repair) reconcile emotional differences or challenges between people compassion must be present. Without compassion or the ability to understand one another, things will either end (linger in unrest )or remain broken for years. In brokenness people remain detached and disconnected from loved ones; people also lose their ability to trust one another. After-all, its hard to connect with loved ones or put your trust in people who have not shown you mercy, or the compassion to understand you. Consequently, it's impossible to fix a relationship, without compassion.
