Metaphroical Thoughts on Roses and Friendships
Sometimes the beauty of a rose is attributed to its stemmed thorns and within my friendships I've learned to admire another not by what I can receive from them but by what I can see (understand) about them that will in turn preserve the connection.
Sometimes the stemmed thorns of friendship can either serve to protect the natural essence and foundation of a friendship or keep one or others away for self protection.
But I think that we must remember the real purpose of both the Rose's petals and the Rose's stemmed thorns (Purpose= Balance and foundation).
The Rose petals adds to the beauty of the roses but the stemmed thorns preserves the foundation and the beauty of the Roses.
